Easy peasy sweet n sour sauce


140g Cider Vinegar

220g White Sugar

100g Tomato Ketchup

20g Tomato Paste

20g Worcestershire Sauce

1 pinch Salt

1 tsp Cornflour

1 tbsp Cold Water


Get all of the ingredients except for the cornflour and water. Mix them in a bowl until it is all combined. Add to a saucepan and warm gently on a medium heat. Meanwhile mix the cornflour with the cold water and make a paste.

Add it to the sauce and continuously stir with a whisk to avoid lumps. Keep stirring until it is thick.

Put aside to cool down.


Use as a dip or pour over sauce.

Make the sauce before your main to give it time to cool down.
